The Board advises City Commission and staff on matters in the community pertaining to solid waste (non-recyclable material) collection and disposal, yard waste, air quality enhancements, hazardous waste management, energy savings, and water quality.
This is the official Facebook page for the Royal Oak Environmental Advisory Board. We like comments and interaction from residents and visitors. Our goal is to handle comments and replies by the public according to the following standard:
If someone posts a comment that requires a response, it will be answered within 16 work hours (two work days). All residents are also encouraged to the call the Department of Public Service at 248-246-3300.
City employeess will immediately remove any comment which violates any local, state, or federal law regarding discrimination, harassment, or violence. In addition, if the comment contains offensive language, is discriminatory, derogatory or a commercial message that is out of context, then that content will be removed.
If a Royal Oak resident has a problem or question regardomg recycling pick up they should call the Royal Oak Department of Public Service at 248-246-3300.
